Temperzone

Temperzone is New Zealand’s longest established manufacturer and exporter of air conditioning and ventilation equipment employing 480 people. Temperzone export their units and equipment into Australia, China/Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Pacific Islands, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Bangladesh, and Mauritius.  Temperzone has continually grown their business year after year by meeting their clients needs and applying exacting quality control standards to all their products.

When it came to new buildings they applied the same exacting standards and formed an association with us based on quality, attention to detail and value for money.

We have been Temperzone’s choice of construction company since 1998 and have over the years completed nine separate design build projects to the very high standards demanded by Temperzone with a total value in excess of $10 million. Projects have ranged from large extensions to existing factories, office extensions to civil works involving extensive earthworks, retaining walls, carparking and roading.

Mezzanine Office Addition

Most recently we added a new 330m² mezzanine floor to an existing building to allow for the expansion of the engineering division.

This entailed:

  • reconfiguring part of the existing production ground floor area to enable the structure to support the new first floor
  • acoustic design to manage noise generated from the manufacturing area
  • updated fire systems in the area of the alteration
  • and construction work all undertaken while the production area needed to continue its usual busy operation
